Open Bravo ဆိုတာ အရောင်းဆိုင်တွေမှာ သုံးတဲ့ Open Source Point of Sales Program ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဆိုင်ငယ်လေးတွေက စပြီး စတိုးဆိုင်ကြီးတွေ အထိ သုံးလို့ရပါတယ်။ ဒီလို အိုင်တီခေတ်ကြီးများ လူတိုင်းဟာ နည်းပညာကို ကောင်းကောင်း အသုံးချသင့်ပါတယ်။ ကွန်ပြူတာ လူတိုင်းသုံး သင့်ပါတယ်။ အချိန်အနည်းငယ်လောက် ယူလိုက်တာနဲ့ မိမိရဲ့လုပ်ငန်းမှာ သုံးလို့ရတဲ့ POS စနစ်တစ်ခု ရနိုင်ပါတယ်။
မေးစရာ မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုကတော့ ဒီမှာက လုပ်အားခက ပေါနေတော့ ဘာဖြစ်လို့ဆိုင်မှာ ကွန်ပြုတာစနစ်ပြု POS ကိုသုံးရမလဲ ဆိုတာပါပဲ။ ၅၀၀၀၀ အောက် ငွေကြေးနဲ့ လူတစ်ဦးကို ငှားလို့ရပါတယ်။ ကွန်ပြုတာတစ်လုံးကို ငါးသိန်းအထက် ပေးနေရတဲ့ အချိန်မှာ လူတစ်ယောက်ကို သက်သက် သာသာနဲ့ အလုပ်ခန့်လို့ရပါတယ်။ ဟုတ်ပါတယ် ဒါပေမယ့် စာရင်းချုပ်တာ၊ တွက်ချက်တာ၊ ဘယ်ပစ္စည်း ဘယ်လောက်ရောင်းရတာ၊ အမြတ်၊ ကုန်ကျစရိတ် တွေကို ဘယ်လိုတွက်ကြမလဲ။ သေချာပါတယ်၊ ဒါတွေကို ငှားရမ်းထားတဲ့ အလုပ်သမားက တွက်တက်မှာ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ အလုပ်ရှင် ကိုယ်တိုင် တွက်ချက်ရမှာပေါ့။ အမြဲတမ်းဖြစ်တဲ့ ပြဿနာကတော့ စာရင်းမကိုက်တာ လွဲတာပါပဲ။
လုပ်ငန်:တွေက သေးငယ်တုန်းမှာ မသိသာပေးမယ့် တစ်စတစ်စ ကြီးမားလာတဲ့ အခါမှာတော့ အဆင်မပြေ ဖြစ်လာနိုင်ပါတယ်။ Open bravo ဟာ အခမဲ့ရတဲ့ free open source ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ GNU public license နဲ့ ထုတ်ထားပါတယ်။ barcode reader နဲ့သုံးလို့ရပါတယ်။ touch screen monitor ကို support လုပ်ပါတယ်။ Categories ခွဲတာ report ထုတ်တာ အပြင်ကို အဝင်စာရင်း၊ အထွက်စာရင်း cash in/out ကို အကြောင်းပြချက် ပေးပြီးပါ မှတ်လို့ရပါတယ်။ ဒီနေ့ ဘယ်လောက် ရောင်းရတယ်။ ဘယ်လောက် မြတ်တယ်။ လနဲ့ လိုက်ပြီး ဘယ်လမှာတော့ အရောင်း ကောင်းတယ်။ ဘယ်လမှာ အရောင်းထိုင်းတယ် အလွယ်တကူ တွက်လို့ရပါတယ်။
Network ချိတ်ပြီး စက်တွေ အများကြီး ဥပမာ City Mart, Capital, စိန်ဂေဟာ လိုမျိုးလဲ support လုပ်ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီ software အတွက် 0$ သာ ကုန်ကြပါမယ်။ လွယ်လွယ်ကူကူ touch screen monitor သုံးပြီး ဝန်ထမ်းတွေကို အချိန်တိုအတွင်းမှာ သင်ပေးလို့ရပါတယ်။
Open Bravo ဟာ java အခြေပြု system ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Database အတွက် MySQL ကိုသုံးရမှာပါ။ နစ်မျိုးနစ်စား ရှိပါတယ်။ web နဲ့ window ကြိုက်တာ ရွေးသုံးလို့ရပါတယ်။ window ကတော့ ဆိုင်အသေးတွေမှာ အသုံးတည့်ပါတယ်။ internet connection ကောင်းရင် web နဲ့ ချိတ်ဆက်ပြီး မိမိရဲ့ အိမ်ကနေပါ ကြည့်ရှုလို့ရပါတယ်။
Open bravo ကိုစတင်ပြီး အသုံးပြုတော့မယ်ဆို လိုအပ်တာကတော့ window အတွက်ဆိုရင် Open Bravo installer, MySQL database installer , MYSQL connector တို့လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။ သူဟာ java အခြေပြု စနစ်ဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် JRE (java runtime environment) လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။
Open Bravo စဖို. အတွက် Open Bravo installer, JRE, MySQL များကို ပထမဦးစွာ install လုပ်ဖို့လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။ ပြီးနောက် စနစ်နဲ့ database နဲ့ ချိတ်ဆက်ဖို့ MySQL Connector ကို Open Bravo ရဲ့ installation folder မှာ copy+paste လုပ်ဖို့လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။
x32 bit တွေမှာတော့ ပြဿနာ တက်လေ့မရှိပါဘူး။ x64 version တွေမှာတော့ start.bat ကို notepad သုံးပြီး ပြင်ပေးဖို့လိုပါတယ်။

Hi Shelar, you do not really necessary to use Touchscreen.
The software is designed to be compatible with Touch Screen. But you still can install on PC or laptop and use mouse and keyboard etc.

What a coincidence! I was also setting up OpenbravoPOS for my shop and trying to customize more for local requirement. That’s really a good idea to use the software even for small shop as this will definitely help business owner to running efficiently. Our country is very late behind than Thailand in terms of applying technology in business and daily life as well. We need to promote and motivate people in our country to understand how benefit to their business.
