Myandroid Dictionary (Eng-Myan-Eng) Beta
Myandroid ဆိုတာ Myanmar and Android ကိုပြောင်းပြီ နာမည် ပေးထားတာပါ။ Android platform အတွက် အင်္ဂလိပ် – မြန်မာ – အင်္ဂလိပ် dictionary လေးပါ။ Beta version အဖြစ် တင်ဆက်လိုက်ရပါတယ်။ Root လုပ်ဖို့ font install လုပ်ဖို့ မလိုပဲ အသင့်သုံးနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော့် HTC Desire မှာတော့ အဆင်ပြေပါတယ်။ ကျန်တဲ့ Device တွေမှာအဆင်ပြေမပြေ မသိရသေးပါဘူး။ စမ်းသုံးကြည့်စေချင်ပါတယ်။ ထာဝရ Free ပါသွားမှာပါ။ Version 1.0 ဖြစ်တဲ့အခါ Code တွေကို share ပေးသွားဦးမှာပါ။

မြန်မာ – အင်္ဂလိပ်အတွက် မြန်မာစာ Keyboard ကိုတော့ မရေးထားပါဘူး။ မြန်မာစာရိုက်တက်သူတိုင်း အလွတ်ရပြီးသားဖြစ်တဲ့ ဘယ်မြန်မာစာလုံးက ဘယ် key မှာ ရှိတယ်ဆိုတဲ့ ပေါ်မူတည်ပြီး ရိုက်ရှာနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဥပမာ (မြန်မာ = jrefrm)
အသုံးပြုပုံ
- Home screen မှ Myanmar – English button သို့မဟုတ် English – Myanmar button တစ်ခုခုကို နှိပ်ပါ။
- ၂ – ၃ စက္ကန့်လောက် loading စောင့်ပါ။
- Search screen ကိုရောက်ပါက နှစ်သက်ရာကိုရိုက်ပြီရှာနိုင်ပါပြီ။ (မှတ်ချက် အနည်းဆုံး character ၂ လုံးရိုက်ဖို့ လိုအပ်ပါမယ်)
- Keyboard မှ Enter Key သို့မဟုတ် Screen မှာ Search button နှိပ်ပြီ ရှာနိုင်ပါတယ်။
- မိမိ ကြည့်လိုရာကို အသေးစိတ်ကြည့်လိုပါက search results ထဲမှာ နှစ်သက်ရာ list ကို နှိပ်ပါ။
- Detail screen ပေါ်လာပါလိမ့်မယ်။
- Search screen ကိုပြန်သွားလိုပါက ဖုန်းမှ back button ကိုနှိပ်ပါ။
To Download
File Size က 890 KB ပဲရှိပါတယ်။ Download ပြီးပါက File name ကို MyandroidDict.apk_.png မှ MyandroidDict.apk သို့ ပြောင်းပြီ ဖုန်းထဲထည့်ပြီး install လုပ်နိုင်ပါပြီ။ (ကိုသီဟရေ server က .apk လက်မခံလို့ အကြံအဖန်လုပ်လိုက်ရတယ်)
ခွင့်တောင်းခြင်း
ကျွန်တော် ဒီ dictionary မှာ အသုံးပြုထားတဲ့ data တွေကို wxPyDict – Dictionary မှ ရယူထားခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီ။ Font တွေ ကတော့ Zawgyi နဲ့ Wininnwa တို့ကို သုံးထားခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အဆိုပါ ပိုင်ရှင်များထံမှ တိုက်ရိုက် ခွင့်ပြုချက်ရယူထားခြင်း မရှိသေးပါ။ Myandroid dictionary ကို ကိုယ်ကျိုး စီးပွားအတွက် အသုံးပြုမှာ မဟုတ်ပဲ ထာဝရ Free ပေးသုံးသွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ထို့ကြောင့် အဆိုပါ ပိုင်ရှင်များအနေဖြင့် အသုံးပြုခွင့် ပေးပါရန် ခွင့်တောင်း လိုက်ရပါတယ်။

why there is “နိုု င်” .. ? and any idea to release it with Unicode fonts ?

Sentence အရှည်ကြီးကို space မပါလို့ပါ လို့ပဲပြောရမှာပါပဲ။ ကျွန်တော် သူများ data တွေကိုယူသုံးထားတာပါ data တွေကို သေချာ clean မလုပ်ရသေးပါဘူး တချို့နေရာမှာတွေမှာလဲ စာလုံးပေါင်း မှားနေတာတွေ ရှိပါတယ်။
English to Myanmar is using Ornagai Data.
You can download from tsv format from

So, next myandroid browser =) You should try browser for android include font embed like iMyanmar in iPhone. If u want to provide font-embed api, I can support to you.

it’s not easy like iPhone.. android still needs more supports ( especially at UI )
using custom fonts on android is as easy as ABC.
and I’ve no idea related with fonts ( neither zawgyi nor unicode fonts )

Android supports web font fully (as of 2.2) so there’s no need for a solution like that.
i cannot install this dictionary into my htc desire. plz let me know how to do it.
1. copy into sdcard
2. install ASTRO from Market
3. browse your file using ASTRO and then install
or
transfer via bluetooth and then install

This is another way to install for the application outside of marketplace and who can not access marketplace (For HTC android OS users)
Go to this site http://www.htc.com/sea/support.aspx and download HTC sync application 2.0 or 3.0 (choose depend on your android os version)
And then install this application in the comp. While installing in the comp, antivirus must be disable. After installing, connect the phone and comp using usb that will show notification in the notification bar and choose sync.
If your synchronization is ok, you can install application from your computer using this sync application. Just sharing what i know.

One of my friends can support your the data ( computer typing). We are weak in programming or Web knowledge. If you can take care in that part, it will make the knowledge und lives of Myanmar more & easy.
IF you are not free, plse give us a short intensive knowledge in the area we don’t know.

ကျွန်တော်ရဲ့ Creative ZiiO7 မှာ တင်တာအောင်မြင်ပါတယ်။ ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။
i have intalled it on Glaxy Tab (7 inch) which does not have Zawgyi (i could not find any where). But it works as said. Eng – Myanmar is ok but Myanmar-Eng has some problem. I can type Myanmar Font into the search box but the result with myanmar words are shown in english font.
How do i solve it?
Pls tell me how to install zawgyi font so that i can use on gtalk and read myanmar website on the Glaxy Tab.

ကျွန်တော့် Hawei C8600 မှာ ကောင်းကောင်းအလုပ်လုပ်ပါတယ်။
၁။ သို့သော်… ရှာပြီးသား search box ထဲကစာလုံးကို backspace နဲ့ပြန်ဖျက်တဲ့အခါမှာ
တစ်လုံးပျက်သွားတိုင်း ကျန်တဲ့စာလုံးတွေကိုပါ programme က scan လုပ်ပြီးရှာရှာပေးနေတာကြောင့်
အချိန်က အတော်ကြာနေပါတယ်။
၂။ download လုပ်ပြီး unzip လိုက်တဲ့အခါ apk ဖိုင်လေးထွက်လာပါတယ်။
ပြောထားသလို MyandroidDict.apk_.png ဖိုင်မဟုတ်တော့ပါဘူး။
ကြည့်ရတာ ဆာဗာက apk ကို zip လုပ်ပြီးတင်ရင် လက်ခံတယ်လို့ထင်ပါတယ်။
အဲဒါလေးကို downloading procedure မှာ ပြန်ပြင်ပြီးရေးပေးသင့်တယ်လို့ထင်ပါတယ်။
