WOULD

A. Will ရဲ့ V2 အနေဖြင့် သုံးသောအခါ

1. He told that he would go to Mandalay.
2. They asked me if I would help them.

B. တောင်းပန်ခြင်း၊ ဖိတ်ကြားခြင်း တို့တွင် would ကိုသုံးသည်။  (present tense အနေဖြင့်)

1. Would you take tea?
2. Would you help me to carry this luggage?

C. အခုချိန်ဆို တစ်နေရာရာမှာ ရှိနေမယ်၊ တစ်ခုခု လုပ်နေမယ်ဆိုတဲ့ သဘောမျိုးရေးချင်၊ ပြောချင်ရင် would ကို သုံးသည်။

1. Father would be (or may be) in the room.
2. He would be sleeping at this time.

D. ဦးစားပေး ရွေးချယ်တဲ့ အခါ၊ ကိုယ်နှစ်သက်ရာ ရွေးချယ်တဲ့အခါမျိုးတွေမှာ လည်းပဲ would ကိုသုံးသည်။

1. I would like to take coffee.
2. They wouldn’t join that company.

E. အတိတ်ကာလမှာ ဖြစ်လေ့ရှိခဲ့ (used to) တာမျိုးတွေကို ဖော်ပြချင်ရင်လည်း would ကို သုံးပါ။

1. He would go to temple daily.
2. She would often listen to music.

F. Would that (I wish) တစ်ခုခုဖြစ်ခဲ့ရင် ကောင်းမှာပဲဆိုတဲ့ ဆန္ဒမျိုးကို ဖော်ပြချင်တဲ့ အခါမှာလည်း would ကိုသုံးရသည်။ အင်မတန် အသုံးနည်း သည်။

1. Would that I had one million dollars!
2. Would that I were a prime minister!
   (I wish I were a prime minister!)
