This/That/These/Those
“This” is used for an object (singular) which is near the interlocutor.
စကားပြောတဲ့ လူနဲ့အနီးမှာ ရှိတဲ့ အရာဝတ္ထုကို ဖော်ညွှန်း ချင်တဲ့အခါမှာ this ကိုသုံးရပါတယ်။
Eg. This book is the best book on Earth.
Plural : “These” (several objects). “this” ရဲ့အများကိန်းက “these” ပါ။
Eg. These books are the best books on Earth.
“That” is used for one object (singular) which is far from the interlocutor.
ပြောတဲ့သူနဲ့ အဝေးမှာ ရှိတဲ့ အရာကို ဖော်ညွှန်းချင်တဲ့ အခါမှာ That ကိုသုံးရပါတယ်။
Eg. That is his car over there.
Plural : Those (several objects) that ရဲ့အများကိန်းက those ပါ။
Eg. Those are his toys over there.
“There” is used for one object (singular) which exists – or “is” (near to us). တို့တွေနဲ့ အတူတူ ရှိနေတဲ့ အရာဝတ္ထုကို ဖော်ညွှန်းချင်ရင် There ကိုသုံးရပါတယ်။ There is ဆို အနည်းကိန်းအတွက် သုံးပြီး there are ကိုတော့ အများကိန်းအတွက် သုံးပါတယ်။
Eg. There is (There’s) a table next to the window.
ပြတင်းပေါက်နဲ့ ကပ်လျှက် ရှိနေတာကို ပြောချင်တာပါ။
Plural: “There are“
Eg. There are many of my friends at the party tonight.
ဒီညပါတီပွဲမှာတော့ ကိုယ့်သူငယ်ချင်းတွေ အများကြီးပဲ။ သူနဲ့ အတူတူရှိနေတာကို ဖော်ပြပါတယ်။
အများသူငါ သိပြီးသား ဖြစ်ပေမယ့်လည်း အချို့မသိသေးတဲ့ သူတွေအတွက် ဒီPost လေးကို တင်ပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်။ အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ လေ့လာရေး ဆိုဒ် တစ်ခုကနေ ကော်ပီ ယူထားတာပါ။
